Relationship marketing project

Scotland Food & Drink has tasked Unco with developing an online relationship marketing project for its diverse and growing membership.

Scotland Food & Drink was launched in June 2007 and incorporated as a private limited company in August 2007. It is a new industry-led organisation which aims to grow the value of Scotland’s food and drink sector from £7.5bn to £10bn by 2017. Its mission is to build Scotland’s international reputation as ‘A Land of Food and Drink’.”

The work Unco will undertake will ensure that members are effectively communicated to allowing Scotland Food & Drink to send targeted audience-appropriate messages simply and without hassle. The project will involve user research and strategy, creative design and technical development.

Amanda Brown, Marketing Manager of Scotland Food and Drink said, ‘Effective communication with our members is key to developing our relationship with them, keeping them up to date with the organisation’s progress whilst encouraging them to be active in our projects and activities as their participation is critical in helping the industry achieve its long term targets.

Mark Jennings, Unco’s Managing Director added, ‘Scotland Food & Drink is an organisation with highly ambitious goals, which naturally we are drawn to. We are very much looking forward to this project as it is the ideal start for relationship building with and amongst their membership and will form a good foundation for any further communications work Scotland Food & Drink decides to do.’
